Robin EH72FI is the first step of 'SUBARU FI series', which adopts the newly developed electronic fuel injection system. The new EH72FI offeres outstanding environmental performance as well as excellent running performance, while achieving higher power output. The engine is friendly to people, society, and the earth, for the next generation.
The FI system improves fuel economy across whole speed range by
optimizing fuel distribution.
The FI system drastically reduces harmful substances, such as CO and
HC+NOx, by optimizing fuel injection management. As a result of it,
the FI engine meets EPA and CARB Tier 3 by a wide margin.
The FI system ensures easy and surefire start-up performance by optimizing fuel supply with using engine temperature sensor. It has achieved to reduce engine start-up time drastically than carbureted engine, especially at cold temperature.*
Excellent running performance at any time, on any condition
The FI system maintains optimum fuel supply by detecting every change on engine
speed or load, such as sudden acceleration/deceleration or sharply applied load.
Automatic high altitude adjustment
The FI system maintains optimum fuel supply by detecting atmospheric pressure.
Troublesome manual adjustment at high altitude is no longer needed.
High power output and quick response, which are known as advantages of electronic fuel injection, are realized by increasing inlet air volume as well as optimizing fuel injection management.

By adopting the ECU integrated with throttle body of FI system, The EH72FI has achieved very compact design, which is same envelope size as carbureted engine, to keep superb mountability for machineries.
On top of that, no external ECU is required on machinery side.

By adopting In-Line fuel pump, i.e. electromagnetic fuel pump incorporated in the fuel line, no additional fuel pump is required in fuel tank on machinery side. (Only fuel return line is required.)
